Oftentimes, people ask us if there are side effects on the HCG diet. That’s one of the great things about this diet: there aren’t! Some people report a feeling of fatigue during the first week of taking that HCG drops. We ask these people if they are getting enough sleep. It’s important to get 8 full hours of sleep every night while on the HCG diet. Not getting enough sleep can lead to other things, such as light headedness, headache, and the obvious feeling of fatigue. Making sure you follow the protocol will greatly reduce the chances that you will feel any of these “side effects.” If you are eating the way you are supposed to, and getting an adequate amount of sleep, you should feel great!
