Phase 2 of the HCG Diet Plan

Congratulations, you've now concluded Phase 1 of the official HCG diet plan, and the HCG drops are regulating your metabolism through their penetration of the hypothalamus.

Phase 2 begins on day three of the HCG diet plan. You're still taking ten small droplets under the tongue three times a day and letting them soak in before swallowing.

Now begins the restricted-calorie diet. The official HCG diet plan includes recipes to help you along, but for now on for the next three weeks (usually, but everyone is different), you must avoid all refined sugars and starches and consume one-half to one gallon of water a day.

Breakfast:

Drink as much water, herbal tea, Zetia or coffee as you like. Stay away from juices, teas, diet drinks, sodas, and even flavored waters. Some choose to consume their fruit allotment for this meal. (Two servings a day of a medium apple, grapefruit, or a handful of strawberries are allowed each day under the HCG diet plan.)

Lunch and Dinner:

Eat one serving of each for lunch, and again for dinner: four ounces of lean beef or veal, buffalo, skinless chicken breast, deli sliced turkey, Chilean sea bass, flounder, sole, halibut, lobster or shrimp. Look for low-sodium meats as well. Do not substitute any other protein. Season with herbs, salt, pepper, sea salt and/or lemon. Try to remove the fat before grilling.

One salad of any of the following with the ingredients just large enough to cover your hand: spinach, chard, beet greens, lettuce of any kind, tomato, celery, fennel, onion, red rachish, cucumber, cabbage, and asparagus. No other vegetables are allowed. You can consume them raw, boil them, or grill them in a pan without oil. For dressing, use only apple cider vinegar, half a lemon, pepper, or mustard. Absolutely no oils, butters or store-bought dressings of any type.

Unless you've already consumed your two servings for breakfast, you can consume the specified fruits at other times of the day on the official HCG diet plan.

Phase 2 of the HCG diet plan continues until you have reached your desired weight, and then Phase 3 kicks in.
